Membership

The Avenue Community Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity is an organization of concerned lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people as well as non-gays who have come together to address the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health needs of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered community. We are committed to the belief that health, which is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, is a fundamental human right and that the attainment of the highest possible level of health for lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, and transgendered people requires action by all levels of society.

Membership in The Avenue Community Centre is open to all individuals and organizations who support the goals of The Avenue Community Centre. All Memberships are subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. The Avenue Community Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity is registered under the Non-Profit Corporation Act of Saskatchewan and is a registered charity with Revenue Canada 13558-5487 rr0001.

There are 3 types of memberships available:
1. Individual Membership………..($10)
2. Professional Membership…….($25)
3. Organizational Membership…....($50)

Tax receipts are issued for donations of $10 or more.
